So the SF Planning Commission, following the hearing on March 7, 2013, approved the San Francisco Overlook project.

(See earlier posts – like this one  or this one – for more details.)

I’ll keep this website posted with more details as they come out.

  1. How on earth could this have been allowed to happen? I thought this project finally got squashed!

[Webmaster: Not sure of the details yet, but I believe the property changed hands, and the new owner pushed really hard on it. If there’s a public record of the hearing, I’ll give a link.]

  2. I was surprised, too. There was some discussion in the Yahoo group, but it wasn’t completely clear to me how the Planning Commission responded to concerns about traffic, etc. on tiny little Crestmont Dr. The new owner did seem especially determined.

    1. Evil developers! They’ll stop at nothing to grab every little inch of our mountains and safety be damned. Witness as well the battle for ever more pieces of San Bruno Mountain… How’re they gonna get the equipment up there to build the thing, first of all? Think of the noise and danger to the residents who already live here.
